Going from strength to strength

The health visitor gave both bubbas a resounding thumbs up today. Sophie now weighs 20lb 3oz and Matthew 22lb 2oz. Sophie is now four times heavier than her birthweight, yet they both still fit in the bumbos. I guess most of their weight gain is not on their bums.

Hola!

Saturday 20 March 2010

I am SO talented!

I can get stuck under the table, all by myself.

I can say "Kye, kye, kye" and nobody knows what the hell I'm talking about.

I can fit a ping-pong ball in my mouth, no trouble.

And I can STAND ON MY OWN!!!

Matthew's teeth

Here's my two little teeth!

And here's my polar bear hat!

Monday 15 March 2010

Sophie's well again

And full of her usual mischief.

Nothing like a bin bag for a little manic laughter...

Saturday 13 March 2010

Twinkle, twinkle

For some time now, Matthew has been copying my hand movements when singing Twinkle, Twinkle to him.

Her ear's popped again

Sophie's been fighting a cold, as usual, but sadly she's suffered her second perforated eardrum, so she's back on the antibiotics. Much as on New Year's Eve, she went through an inconsolable period, then Chris noticed some discharge from her ear and we were off to hospital again with the same end result - 10 days of antibiotics. Poor little girl.

Bath time!

Sophie, in particular, used to hate bath time, but it's growing on her...

Happy days!

Everybody tells us how we have to enjoy these days with our gorgeous twins as this is the best it gets. I know the terrible twos are bearing down on us, but how awful can that period be? They'll be learning to talk properly, walking properly, real little people. I love the stage ours are at but I have no doubt I will love every stage they go through.

Saturday 6 March 2010

Sophie's off again

All kitted up and ready to hit the road.

NOW I see it!

I've never been able to see any resemblance between Matthew and myself. But today I had a Eureka moment. We're the spit of each other!

Box 'em up

Why do babies like boxes? Can't be missing the womb after 11 months, surely? Apparently I was happy as Larry when sat in a box. Defective genes I guess.
