Birthday party (take two)

We'd planned to picnic in Ashdown Forest, but after a dodgy weather forecast we decided to meet at Grandma and Grandad's house for the twins' second birthday celebration.

One year old today!

Hard to believe, but the Bubbas have reached their first birthday. What a year it's been!

We had lunch with the Grandparents at a pub.

Then back home to open their cards and undo their presents.

This particular present, bought by Daddy, reduced Matthew to a screaming wreck in less than a second! I hope he'll grow to like it.

As both of the bubbas have bottom teeth standing proud, they need a little care. And a bit of practice.

Home deliveries

We get most of our groceries delivered to the door. So much less hassle.

Books

Being a bookseller, I'm obviously keen to expose the Bubbas to books. Both show interest, but it often wanes quickly. Matthew's mostly interested in how books taste.

Jumparoo

The jumparoo is still going strong and Sophie's playing with another of their favourite toys, a musical helicopter.
